1994 LT1 Firebird def file and cal
I have a friend who has an 94 LT1 in a street rod. He is getting an code for inop MAF sensor. Apparently the 984 LT1 used both MAF and MAP sensors. It idles and runs fine. Is there a way to disable the MALF code for the MAF.
Which PCM was stock for this motor and and what is stock cal? Assuming PCM can be reflashed.

Dom... it looks like there's a switch/flag to run in speed density mode when I look at it in Tunercat.
I'm looking at the $EE code. I believe 92-93 were $DA2/DA3 and then 94 and up were $EE?

Thx for the quick response. I thought there probably would be a option to shut off the MALF for MAF.
I’ve never really done anything w these Def file. Can it be accessed via OBD port? The aholes who built this street rod put the PCM way up under the dash and direct access to it really difficult. My friend doesn’t even know if there’s a functional CEL light in the dash. He knows he has a couple of codes by using a scantool.

Hmmm... I have no actual experience tuning a 4th gen unfortunately. I only had the calibration files as references for tuning my Miniram... lol.
