Problem downloading definition files. Please help
Hi everyone. I'm new to Efi tuning, and I'm having a problem downloading definition files to tuner pro.
I'm using tunerproRt and im trying to load definition files from the tunerpro website, I right click, then save target as, save file either to the file where bins are kept in tuner pro. Or to the desktop then drag it to the bin files that are kept in tuner pro, either way it won't stick, it shows it's there for a few seconds then goes away. Looks like the computer thinks it's a text document. I tried changing the extension to xdf but same problem.
Im running windows 7 pro with version 4 tunerpro r/t. (Version 5 didn't work for me)
Anybody run into this problem before? Also when I save it in a file or desk top, it shows a lock 🔐 beside the file..

Right click on the file and select the Properties dialog. See if there is something there to change the lock.
It may also be an anti-virus program that isn't allowing you to get to the file. As it was downloaded from the evil internet.
RBob.
