Rich open loop idle

Hey guys,

My car is tuned in closed loop. 6E. I always had a rich open and closed loop idle. I realized I wasn't being aggressive enough with my MAF table changes. I now have a high 14's AFR closed loop idle. But the car still runs rich in the open loop cold idle. I zero'ed out the "Open loop AFR Ratio % change vs coolant temp". It made a difference. But my cold open loop idle is still mid to low 13's.

I'm not quite sure what other table I just look at the lean up the open loop idle?

Thanks!

Re: Rich open loop idle

Is there a open loop enrichment vs lv8?

also the open loop vs coolant should accept negative values

mid 13’s with cold coolant is fine imo

Thanks for the reply! I figure mid 13’s were ok too. But it puffs a very small amount of black smoke at cold idle. I don’t know if it’s because my Wideband is a little off due to the large cam or what.

Rich. But that was before I dialed in my closed loop idle which was always rich. That's a good idea. I'll pull a plug this weekend.
