Is it possible to use SAUJP V4 or V5 on TunerProRT v4?

As the title says, I need to use SAUJP V4 or V5 (V5 Preferably) with TunerProRT V4. The reason is, I'm getting errors (refer to this thread https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-...ml#post5939896) trying to datalog on TPRT V5 and I read in some posts that reverting to V4 of TPRT may help me solve my problems. Problem is, anytime I try to load an adx file onto TPRT V4 I get mismatch errors with XDF's from the same package. I guess TPRT V4 does not understand ADX but I can't find:
1. SAUJP V4 or 5 with ads instead of adx file
OR
2. a way to convert adx to ads.
I know TPRT V5 "imports" ads files and converts them but I see nothing about going the other way. Any thoughts?

As far as I know there is no way to convert and ADX to and ADS, since that's going backwards in chronology or supported files. You could create an ADS, but that takes some time and can be involved if you haven't done it before.

I'm sure there's an ADS for S_AUJP V4 at least.

Also you should be able to solve any errors in TP RT V5. I haven't looked at the thread you linked but many times either adding a delay to the connection or reducing the delay will solve error issues.

I don't think there is an S_AUJP ADS file for V5 but, there is a copy of V4 at Gearhead EFI. Go here and see if this is what you need, http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-8D

I'm not a member there so I can not download the files but V4 should be ADS file. Down the page a little you will find the S_AUJP files. HTH!

Don't understand your post. AFIK, there is no relation between TunerPro v4/5 and S_AUJP v4/5. They can be used without regard to each other. But why use TPro v4 when v5 is available?

Regarding not having an ADX for S_AUJP v5, please download the file here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-...available.html

We were very careful to ensure there was a complete XDF file and ADX files provided for both NBo2 and WBo2 applications.

Re: Is it possible to use SAUJP V4 or V5 on TunerProRT v4?

Thank you all for your suggestions and inquiries. To answer Elky, you are partially correct in that there is no relation between the versions except for the fact that TProRT V4 uses ADS, not ADX. Since I wanted to use SAUJPV5 with TProRT V4, I needed a version of SAUJPV5 with an ADS, not ADX file. The reason I wanted to use TProRT V4 is because I can't get stable datalogging with TProRT V5 (please refer to the thread to which I linked above) and it has been suggested in another thread that going back to TProRT V4 might solve the issue.
All that being said, I did find a version of SAUJPV4 with an ADS, not ADX file to try. Furthermore, I realised I never tried TProRT V5 with SAUJPV5. However, I haven't had a chance to try anything new since my last posting. I'm going to try to redo my bin from scratch with the V5/V5 combo first. If that doesn't work, I'll do the same with the V4/V4 combo.

You did find an ADS file for v4, that is good!. Where did you find it? Please post so others with this problem may have a solution. Thanks!

Sorry you're having problems, especially logging. Believe it or not, many times the quality of the USB cable (ie - the quality of the connection tight/loos is an issue). I and others have had incidents where uploading bins to an AutoProm would be flaky, couldn't verify the upload and caused some logging issues. Changed USB cable and problem permanently solved. Not saying that's your issue, but worth a try.

Regarding TPro v4, I'll admit it's been a while since using it, but my recollection is that on first use, a non S_AUJP ADS from tunerpro.net was imported, saved as an ADX and thereafter used such that an ADS file was never again needed. So if had an ADX initially and not an ADS, it could be used with TPro v4. Wouldn't mater if it was S_AUJP or not. Is it that TPro v4 does not know about an ADX until one has been saved from an imported ADS?
