What bin to start with for my setup?

I am just getting my new setup together and ready to go in the car I will be tuning with EBL and was wondering should I start with a 92 l98 bin or would a y body l98 bin be a better bin to start with because they came with the better flowing alum. heads and what not?

Re: What bin to start with for my setup?

Is this the engine in your sig? If so I'd start with a TPI BIN (Port Mod) and copy the VE tables over from the base TBI BIN. The HSR is going to produce a completely different torque curve then a TPI intake.

Assuming this is an EBL Flash (not P4 Flash), start with the EBL_F_3005 BIN. That one is set up as an iron head L98 with an automatic.

Then as mentioned copy the VE tables over from the base TBI BIN. Do some fuel tuning and see how it is. Can then try this semi-tuned BIN with the main & extended SA tables copied over from the EBL_F_3006 BIN (L98 w/alum heads & 6-spd). See if that provides better driveability and/or power.

RBob.

I would also switch the iron head spark table out for one from a F/Y car LT1 or a 96 LT4 Corvette.
