Tune Procharger with 1 bar map sensor
I need to get my car dyno tuned now that I've added a supercharger to it. My question is, Is there any way I can get my car dyno tuned with the 1 bar map sensor on it, or will it need to have a 2 bar? I am using the 730 ecm. I know of a code 59 or something with the 749 ecm is out there, but I don't know anything about tuning a car myself, and the guy who will be dyno tuning my car is not familiar with the code 59. Thanks

Should consider 2 bar type tune and really only option is $59 for plug and play or buy EBL.
Or fmu of some sort and tweak from there
Good thing about centri blowers is boost is fairly linear. To a degree you can use pe mode enrichment vs rpm to your advantage and increase rpms rise and as boost rises. Its a band aid but between that and fmu it should be adequate

Re: Tune Procharger with 1 bar map sensor
I wasn't planning on using an fmu as I am running 60 lb/hr injectors. Can code 59 handle boost? If not I hear of people using a program called $58. How do you load that into the ecm, just use a chip from a typhoon/cyclone car? This is all very confusing to me and I just want to get it all finished and out of the way so that I can start driving the car around. If not, I may just opt for an aftermarket ecm set up if I cant get all this done. What all is needed for my car to use the ebl p4 flash?

$59 is an improved version of $58. It handles 3 bar boost easily. I ran this for a few years. Works well! Tunes sorta like $8d but you have to setup the base v6 bin for v8 and do a few minor things before starting. Now its been years since i followed those guys so they may have different versions out.
Visit code59.org i believe. For ebl talk to RBob, link is in his signature

I am interested in looking into the ebl some more. I'm just curious about a few more things and how it works. Thanks for the replies.

Re: Tune Procharger with 1 bar map sensor
$59 requires a 3 BAR MAP sensor.
$58 uses a 2 BAR MAP sensor.
Both $58 and $59 will work in your '7730 ECM. You need to program the bin to an EEPROM, or upload to an emulator. IIRC there's a couple wires that need to move pins, when going from $8D to $58/$59 but it's not difficult.
