7730 ecm....

So, i just purchased a used "as is" ecm off of ebay.
It is a 730 and i opened it up after i heard a sound when i moved it. Ends up the esc was broken off the memcal and just laying in the ecm case.. everything else looks fine...
Can we buy replacement esc modules that pop in? Or do i have to purchase a whole memcal? I'm planning on buying a g1 adapter to start tuning my car so i dont care about the prom that is in it currently..

I only payed $35 shipped to me..

Re: 7730 ecm....

Looks like it was pried out. You can reinstall the header pins and easily solder it back in.

I thought the same thing.. so i can just get new pins and resolder them at the chip then press it back on the memcal? The other pins are in 2-3 pieces.

Sorry I didn't see the completely broken ones between the netress and I/o. You will be better off using another memcal and solder on the netress and I/o and solder in a d2 inplace of the prom.

Re: 7730 ecm....

Is it possible to use the maf esc with the 730 ecm?

Edit: seller reimbursed me half $12.50, for the damage. So i think i still did ok considering. I have a whole 22.50 into a 730 ecm and probably $50 into a reman memcal with a prom.
