TunerPro RT 5.00.8040.00 build
Currently, trying to use TunerPro RT 5.00.8040.00 build to monitor my 1989 camaro with definitions from TunePro website 1227165_6E, stock compute. Since I am using V5 followed the instructions to convert definitions to ADX file. It seems to work but it consistently has a glitch were on a reoccurring frequency the data jumps off the map, so to speak. I have been Google searching this issue but have not been able to find an explanation of this issue and how to fix it. Can anyone help me?

Not to say this is it, but I had a glitch in a banking program that would cause a loss of data. it turned out to be the screen saver program. When it changed background screens (every five minutes) it would disrupt the banking program.
I'm not saying this is the problem or this is what will fix it, just reporting some weird stuff I've had happen to me. Just don't overlook what may seem completely unrelated.

+2 on the screen saver, the Windows screen savers take a lot of CPU. Best to just disable it, not needed anyway. I've never enabled it on the laptop I use for data logging and tuning.

Thanks guys. Changing the screensaver, background and power management settings fixed turnerpro from losing connection while driving. I original thought it was a usb issue but I was wrong.
Just got back from a drive, the latest version of tunerpro and the change windows settings seemed to work better. Need to look at the recording so I will update this post later when I have some time.
Trying to figure out if my shorty hedman headers and a single wire O2 sensor will work or if I need to upgrade to a hotwire setup.
