Re: EPROM # for ECM1226865
Not sure what you mean by prom #, but the PROM is a small 1K x 8 one time programmable. Can use an adapter that re-wires some of the pins to use a modern (old modern) EPROM or Flash chip.
There has also been BINs posted in some of those links, CPK is one which is an '85 Camaro 4bbl LG4 set up. Note that if you need a spare ECM let me know.

Re: EPROM # for ECM1226865
Thanks RBob,
I meant if there is a part number for the memory that goes into the ECM1226865. If there is, I like to buy one. Once I know what the memory part #, I hope I would then look for equipment those can read/write the memory with a bin file (which I yet do not have it). Put memory back to new ECM and hope for the best.
Do you know the memory part #
What is '1k x 8'

Everybody on this forum wants to help you with your questions but you need to have a basic understanding of a ECM and its components and ask the question in a fashion that people can understand. You really, really need to read the stickies at the beginning of this forum especially:

Re: EPROM # for ECM1226865
utilityguy2, agree, and read 'prom tuning...' and learned '1k x 8'. Did finish reading, but found (or I need to read more and keep on searching...) not much info regarding 85 CCC ECM.
Anyhow, I do appreciate all senior members those have answered and helping me. Do you have any other pointer for CCC ECM.
Thanks.

Like I told you before I have 1228079 that should work you may need to repin with acfz eprom. You can have it for the cost of the ride.

Dear ECM 1226865
Continue reading & searching for a resolution on 1226865,
Or
Till you have enough understanding to understand the ‘expert/professional term & lingo’ to find a resolution with another ECM platform.
Or,
Please learn how to 'question properly' so you can get the 'correct answer'.
Or
Assuming you have searched thoroughly this and other websites, and in case you are unable to find a resolution with your existing ECM 1226865, you may try following for your specific car as it has been done before with success (or it was not done before, but you may try with your risk) :
1. 1. Get ECM XXXXXXX (like 1228079)
2. 2. Get Memory XXXXXX (sticky note has no mention of prom of 1226865, or any cross reference)
3. 3. Get memory reader/burner hardware XXXXX that DOES read this specific memory (eprom) XXXXX
4. 4. Get memory reader/editor software XXXXXX that DOES work with this specific memory XXXXX
5. 5. Assuming you are unable to get your present bin file due to xxxx you may look at this site to download a bin file.

Re: EPROM # for ECM1226865
You are getting good advice, but for what my advice is worth,
a perfectly functioning 1226865 is about one step more useful than a pail of garbage. An obstacle like this can be overcome, but in the end you may look back and think that it wasn't worth all the effort.
That said, it may be easier to convert to a different ECM and either swap harnesses, or re-pin the one you have, so that you have equipment that is fully supported to your satisfaction - tune/scan capability. At that point you may want to convert to fuel injection for additional benefits.
You may also decide to go in the other direction with less electronics and learn to tune it the old-fashioned way.
Rbob has some extremely good equipment on dynamicefi.com for setting up a fuel injected system with full support and capability. It's an investment in time and money to complete, but there is a payoff in fuel efficiency, performance, and peace of mind knowing that you have support if/when something goes wrong.
