Do my mods require tuning?
I have a 87 GTA with fully ported stock heads and intakes, SLP runners, headers, full exhaust with no cat, blocked off EGR valve, comp cam 08-501-8, stock throttle body and injectors. Comp said thats the biggest cam i can run without tuning the computer but still i wanted some more opinions. Thanks for any help.

like they said, even the stock thirdgens benefit from a tune, yours sounds like it really wants a tune with whats done to it

Well when you dont know ask a pro...im any old school carb guy jus trying something different. Any advice on tuning or someone in the southeast that knows what thier doing? Thanks alot for the replys so far.

The AFPR yes.
The others can be determined by the readings of the wide-band o2 setup that you are going to buy & install.
I use the Innovate LC-1, it can be used with your choice of gauges.

At one point I would have agreed with this.
I installed an Aeromotive AFPR on my Datsun, guess what, I have it set to 43.5 PSIG, and have NEVER changed it from that.
I'm actually going to make a piece to be able to use a stock GM FPR in it's place, since I really don't need it, and I have another vehicle that will basically require the two port design of it.
So the AFPR is debatable. After getting into tuning the ECM itself and seeing how I rarely, if ever adjust an AFPR, unless it's just set wrong, I'm not sure I'd buy one again.
The only reason I can see to buy one at this point is to be able to increase flow. At some point a need to increase flow through the FPR might be needed and in that case an AFPR would be a good choice.

lol that's ironic, at least you have it for another project.
I suspect you will also make the GM reg adjustable seeing how they tend to vary somewhat.
