Axle/Gears: eaton posi 3.73 gears
Just bought...
i just bought a pocketprogrammer 1 (not 2) and a dataraseII for $140 im just wondering if it was a good deal or if i should figure out a way to kick myself in the behind. thanks... im new to this stuff. fyi i want to use it to program my 88 trans am gta. will it work? if so will chips 27SF512 work with it?

I don't know if those chips will work but you could always go to a junk yard and pull stock chips yourself.

Axle/Gears: Always the good ones
Chips should work fine for you.
Your either going to have to stack the bins or offset burn them.
Do a search on those terms and your chip and you should find lots more answers.

Another note: you'll need an adapter to use those chips (27SF512). You can use either a G1 or G3 from Moates.net for your ECM (1227165).

thank you two. Yea i know i need to get an adapter, and i plan on purchasing one, thanks for your help. My main concern was whether or not the 27sf512 chips would work because of the funky voltage required to clear the chip.
