mat compensation counts vs mat

I found that after tuning idle blms for 128 at mat of 104c, (not relocated mat) that the next day as the mat would be below 104c=at 80 to 92 c it would be considerably leaner. This is with the same kpa/rpm. I've read up on the inverse mult. which would seem to be for as the airflow increases-makes sense. But with the condition I'm finding then the mat comp counts vs mat should be the most applicable-yes?
