Re: Tunerpro RT V4?

Data looks wonky and non-existent at times.

What cable are you using???

$32b ads/adx...

Re: Tunerpro RT V4?

Hi I am using a USB to TTL adapter by SB UART.
I jumper the TX and RX together and connected the wire to the car ALDL diagnostic connector port M and the Ground wire to port A.
The data is weird, I either have a bad ECU or the wrong Data Definition.
The $32b ads/ adx is that a Bin file or a Data logging Definition file? I need a data logging file for a 1988 Camaro 5.7 TPI with MAF.

Thank you.

Re: Tunerpro RT V4?

I've tried Tunerpro RT V5 download an ads definition file then imported it to convert to and adx file. But Tunerpro RT V5 won't connect to my ECU. I'm new to this Tunerpro RT and I'm unaware of the 10k mode.

you can also use winaldl to see if data looks good. Before you connect tp or winaldl use a 10k ohm resistor across a to b at the aldl then hit connect.

Re: Tunerpro RT V4?

The anyh memcal can be used with minor tuning . Vats delete, battery voltage offsets . Aujm is a good code to use for the 350 automatic.

Idk a whole lot with the 1227165 ecm... Your cable interface will suffice adding the 10k ohm resistor. With winaldl or TPRT sorta remember that pin E gets you 160 baud data which is super slow whereas pin M data is transferred at 8192 baud 50x faster. I mentioned this for the mere fact that your ads file ends with "160." Idk if there's a 8192 specific ads/adx but I'd try to download something that's been more developed from one of the links provided^^^in this thread rather than what can be downloaded from tprt site. The quicker baud rate is where you wanna be for datalogging but if you're just wanting to look at snapshot data the 160 baud could suffice. i.e. TPS volts, batt volts, coolant temp, cel flags, etc...

ads/adx is the datalogging file used with tp v4 and v5 respectively.
