Ostrich 1.0 battery died
I have a 1992 Trans Am that had the SES light start flashing. The code was ECM/MEMCAL related so I tried to reseat the cables on my Ostrich 1.0. In doing so, I broke a pin. It's after I broke the pin did I realize the Ostrich 1.0 had 3 AAA batteries. I replaced the batteries but still flashing SES probably due to broken pin. I'll try to order up a replacement from Moates but anyone know if I need to reprogram the Ostrich after a dead battery? It's been a very long time since I've messed and don't remember but I think I found my .bin file.

You can order any machine pin 28 pin DIP socket, or get one locally from just about any electronics store.
Also, for now you can remove the DIP socket and install the ribbon cable directly in the socket of the adapter.
Yes, you need to reprogram the Ostrich, once the batteries have been removed.
