Car: 86 IROC
Engine: 5.0 TPI
Transmission: 700-R-4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 open
what PROM did my car come with ??
i have a pretty run of the mill 1986 IROC Z-28 .all stock. 305 TPI ,auto . 2:73 gears AC .PS . PB . fed emissions. ect . ect. my question is . what PROM did it have originally ?? APU ? AMY ? i got a diffrent PROM from "tuned performance" a couple years ago . and it runs great. but im wondering what did it have stock ? is there any way to find out? maybe " R BOB " could enlighten me?

Most likely is was ANY. Which there are actually two versions of. One released in July '85 (ANY 8980), and another released in Sept '86 (ANY 3234).

thanks, i was hoping youd chime in . that was my suspicion ,as my 86 was built late in the year. im going with the ANY-3234. again Mr . bob , thanks !!
