You should be looking for an elusive BAWX MEMCAL.
However, I already know there are people who will argue with me, but in the years I had a T5 installed behind my V6, I only had a manual PROM installed for a matter of months (because I never could readily find that HNL). With no issues, except when I switched to the newer harness (like yours with the 730), when the harness had issues. You will be just fine with the MEMCAL you have.

For the speedo, take the tail housing off of your 4L60. Count the number of teeth on the speedo gears on both the existing VSS and the drive gear on the output shaft. You then divide the number of teeth on the driven gear (on the VSS) by the number of teeth on the drive gear (output shaft). The number you come up with is the number you will need to multiply the number of teeth on the T-5's speedo drive gear so that you will know the number of teeth on the driven gear you will probably need to buy.
For my installation, I have a 7 tooth drive gear and an 18-19 tooth driven. But you will need different gears because your car SHOULD have a 3.23 rear gear ratio in it (mine is a 3.42). Be warned that if you need to replace the drive gear (the one in your T-5 may be the red one), you will have trouble finding the purple one (which everyone uses for swaps).

You need to check BOTH gears in the trans. One or the other or possibly both could be wrong.
Don't worry about the MEMCAL. It will be fine. You won't have any issues with anything provided you buy the right VSS (4L60 VSS won't fit in the T-5) and speedo gears.
Let's put it this way...
Would you rather spend...
1. X amount on the trans, Y amount on the flywheel, Z amount on the clutch parts, another $ on a VSS, more $$ on a MEMCAL you may never find, or $$$ on either a PROM reprogrammer or to have someone write the chip for you...
or 2. $$$ on the trans, flywheel, clutch, VSS, and use your stock MEMCAL and spend less than $20 on speedo gears?
BTW, make sure that when you're collecting the parts, you get a flywheel from an 88+ V6. You have an internally balanced engine and 87 and older are externally balanced (have a balance weight on the flywheel). If you buy the wrong wheel, you could shake the bottom end apart.
