Help Deciding which ecu to run.

I am currently running c950 on my supercharged 383. Looking to upgrade with efi connections components, crank cam sensors and lsx coils. I am just torn as to which system I want to control it with. I either want to use hp efi because of the self correcting fuel map which would be nice considering coming from the c950. There is a off idle lean issue I just could never get rid of and very annoying. Which leads me to the other option. HP tuners and a ls1 computer. Its a steep learning curve to learn, but it opens the door to having a pro tune it if I cannot get it right. Cost wise for me is about the same, so its really a non issue there. Just really torn which way to go here and I know everyone on here is very helpful so thanks ahead of time.
