thermostat housing
I have a Edelbrock performer intake. Does anybody know where I can find a thermostat housing with the bolt holes on each side like the old sbc with a 1 5/16 dia. neck? Part number or make/model of car? Any help is appreciated. What did you do on your swap? Get a different hose? Which one?

Re: thermostat housing
Google "sbc thermostat housing" and you'll see that every local parts store has them on the shelf.

I shouldn't be looking when I'm tired! Now that I'm tired AND curious ... where does the 1 5/16" come from? All the hoses I see for 3rd gens are 1.5" inside dia., and that's all I ever remember using on most all sbc I've dealt with. So I'm wondering what hose you have?

The 350 TPI that I pulled out of the car has a 1 5/16" outside diameter thermostat housing water neck. I'm doing a engine swap so I wanted a thermostat housing with that same diameter so I could use the same radiator hose. I have a 1 1/2" water neck & hose on the way.
