Heater core foam

Hey yall so I replaced my heater core and it came with 2 about 8inch by 3inch strips of foam, one side is sticky. I was just wondering where they go if they go on the all the doors just to seal them up or just one or the other. (By doors I mean the vent doors that move when you move the climate control levers.) Mine is the non Ac model so they are cable controlled

the top lever controls 2 seperate doors and the bottom one controls 1 door. Does the foam go on all of them on both sides, or...?

Re: Heater core foam

I'm pretty sure that those were supposed to go on the sides of the heater core to help seal it up, but too late now.

They definitely ARE NOT for the control panel.
