1988 iroc loosing coolant
My camaro is loosing coolant, new hoses, cap and pump have been installed.Has no external leaks or heater core leakage,no water in oil, engine runs great.I guess it may be going out the exhaust, any ideas or experience with this problem?

If there is no external leaking (you need to be sure) and your oil isn't coming out milkshake, coolant is leaking into the cylinders and out the exhaust during engine operation. (head gasket time) If it's a noticeable amount, you should be able to smell it in your exhaust.

I had the same problem with my 89 TPI. I just went to autozone and used their block tester which is straight forward chemistry experiment and it confirmed that I had a leaking headgasket. So hopefully I will have it on the road again before the 4th.

The way I see it, IM or head gaskets, you still have remove the same parts.
Go to autozone and buy head gaskets and an IM gasket set
Tear the intake down.
Found the leak! Yey! Fix it and return the head gaskets.
If not, keep going...
No need confusing yourself with all the "testing" to figure out what you already know. In the end, you have an internal coolant leak.

Well, in my case both the intake and one of the head gaskets were leaking. The thought process was to verify the head gasket first prior to fixing the obvious intake leak, but I am not mechanic.
