What cooling fan, fans have you used?
I have a stock radiator and the original single fan on my 85 Camaro. Car is not street driven only bracket raced. Fan is only 28 years old so what could go wrong? Seriously the fan works but takes longer between rounds for me to cool it down than I'd like in hot weather. What fans adapt nicely to fit a 3rd gen?

I have several LT1 4th gen fan setups....they fit nicely as if they're made for the 3rd gen radiators too. I also make a variety of HD relay harnesses for them also. They have a better shroud design so pulling out more heat is much improved.

I left the stock fan and setting in the stock location as back up for a 16in. front pusher fan with a adjustable fan thermally controlled switch set at 190* with a 180* thermostat.

Did your pusher fan fit in front of the condensor? I am currently looking to do something like that for my car.

Re: What cooling fan, fans have you used?
Yes but I had to remove the bolt from the bottom of the support "V" bracket and extend it out with a longer one. 16in was really pushing it when working it in there but it is a beautiful fan/shroud. I pulled it off of a car at pick n pull a few years ago .The reason I like the pusher stock fan combination is because I have a large 14in x 17in. oil cooler with the stock 12in. puller fan mounted to it. (Its a push pull fan sandwich) .I say stock but the fan comes on closer to 200* as opposed to the higher stock setting. During the hot months the car rarely sees 220* in stop and go traffic. So that's a 16in. front pusher fan on at 190* with a stock puller fan that is on at 200* with a 180* thermostat. I get mixed reviews here over it.
