overheating? clean your stuff!
I have been fighting issues with overheating with the a/c on in traffic for years now. I have dual fans on all the time, I have 80% water with "water wetter" in it, I cleaned the space between the condenser and radiator, I have all the air dam plastics in place, I have a 160 degree thermostat. Still, I was overheating in traffic.
Solution: I took the radiator and condenser out, soaked them in degreaser and pressure washed them, i could not believe the amount of dirt/grime/oil/sticks/leaves/paper that came out of them! My car only has 85k miles on it as well! I have no doubt all that dirt was causing was my issue, so if your at your wits end trying to keep your car cool, VERY CAREFULLY (spray perpendicular to the fins with the "gentle" setting) spray out your radiator and condenser even if they don't look gunked up, because my looked fine but were filthy
