Car: 1984 Firebird

preparing to put in ac delete box

anyone have a step by step or is there a how to that i missed?

i used the search button but didnt really find a solid how to

btw all i am doing for now is the underhood portion, and the ac is already non functional

first remove all of your ac components.

then its just a matter of removing the multiple 7mm bolts from the orig ac/heater box. its pretty simple. just take your time, and make sure to remove all of the ac components so you have plenty of room to get at those 7mm bolts.

There's probably going to be a hole at the bottom of the firewall that needs to be plugged. It's underneath the non AC heater box. The AC box used it as a mount point, but the non AC box doesn't.

here are some pics of my cutoff wheel and duct tape mod...lol

I am going to custom fit a Lawn mower air filter to go where my blower motor blows air too. so I dont get all that crap coming into my system. Anyone got pics of the read delete box?

why would you want to remove the ac system im trying to get all the parts together to put mine back on the previus owner removed mine

building it into a race car amigo.... If you use A/C at the track you will get condenstion from your drier on the track and wreck people... Duh llol
