New Lower Radiator Hose Leaks at Ends

Well yesterday I was pulling into a parking lot for a informal car show with my 86 Iroc and when I parked and got out all of a sudden I see a huge amount of coolant comming out from under my car. Upon further inspection I saw that the lower radiator hose had sprung a leak at the water pump. Was spraying out of the hose. It was the original hose by the look of it and it bad shape (looks like oil had soaked it for years and it bloated the hose) I replayed it after a quick run to a local parts store. The next day I noticed that there was a puddle under my car agian. The new hose is leaking around where they slide onto the water pump and radiator. I have the clamps in the right position and clamped down tight. yet I can still see coolant on the end of the hose slowly leakin out.

Are they the spring clamps? We dont reuse those most of the time. I have been an auto tech for 23 years. Sometimes the water pump will have a crusty buildup you will need to clean of before putting your hose on.

sorry I haven't posted sooner, my computer went down for a couple days. I use hose clamps. The reason was the clamps were not seated correctly and there was some buildup on the neck of the radiator and water pump. Its fixed now.
