oil cooler

Can anyone tell me if i would get any problems by removing the factory oil cooler. The only reason for it is to make engine bay tidier looking, but i am also removing a.i.r system so all the original heater hoses etc will not fit.If i do this then where would be the best place to route the heater hoses,i think one will go to throttle body but not sure where to route the other although i think i might have to connect one to radiator or block the radiator connection off. Also can anyone tell me what the part is in first pic, does it connect to fuel pressure regulator? There is a pipe broke off it,is it possible to buy the rubber part with pipes fitted. Here is a link for adjustable fuel pressure regulator i have fitted, its a good price at $49.95.

i wouldnt think of it as a oil cooler more like an oil warmer, it cools the oil at the water temperture. so you should be fine to remove it. i dont remember where the lines run to, so i wont be help on that part.

the part in the first picture is the egr solinoid it mounts on the passenger side manifold by the distributor, using the same bracket that your coil uses, one hose goes to the egr, the other goes to vacume underneath th throttle body. it may look broken, but i dont think it is, one of the tubes that are on it is female and the other is male, so the female fitting looks broken, all it takes is a plastic tube down it with a vacume hose on the tube. you probably left it attached to the hose on the TB or egr.
