Fan tip for 28" wide radiators
Just finished setting up my cooling fans for the Van. This will work for any running a 28" wide radiator core.
It is based off of a cooling fan assembly for a 1996-2001 Nissan Altima. The small 4 bladed primary fan is very bad about burning up. Typically the whole assembly is replaced when this happens. This leaves the housing and the single larger condensor fan. The primary fan can be removed and a second condensor fan bolted right into place of the primary fan. No cutting or drilling necessary. The only alteration to the shroud was cutting approximately 1/2" off of both sides of the shroud. Fits like a glove and both motors are dual speed. On low they move great air, on high WOW!

RBob, there's a statement on that schematic that says...
Option Word 7 input Polarity - bit 6 - FanRq Must be unchecked
The only thing I see in the flags in TP is
Switch 19 (0x019) - Bit 5 - Type of A/C High Pressure Switch Installed
The description says...
1 = Normally Open (Factory AUJP)
0 = Normally Closed
Fan 1 will be enabled if this switch is tripped due to high A/C pressure
Even though the option word descriptiopn doesn't seem to correlate, it's the only thing in the flags that I can see that's A/C related, so I'm assuming that's the one you're referring to.
