Anyone ever hear off/see different color hose??
Ok..I did a search and cant find what Im looking for. Im 99% sure that theres blue radiator hose available for our cars. Furthermore....is there also green hose available? I could have sworn that I had a LT1 (?) motor in my shop with green hoses on it....green radiator hose..heater hose ect ect.
Am I dreaming or does this really exist?

i have the blue radiator hose in my car. My friend gave some to me. He told me they are better than the regular rubber kind.

I too have the Goodyear Blue ones. They are a good hose, and look better then plain old black. Here is a clear pic for you.

I think the green hoses (silicone?) were stock on some cars (caprices and camaros) with the B4C option (police package)

I really wanted to green hose to match the color of my car. But from what I understand green silicone hose has been discontinued. I thought about spraypainting the hoses green but something tells me it will look dumb... So basically my choices are black, blue, or those "chrome like" hoses...I'll probably just end up with blue.
BTW..Has anybody had any problems with these hoses? More importantly other than the fact that these hoses are supposedly guaranteed NOT to burst is there any real advantage to "blue" hose over stock???

9C1 were the green hose cars, and taxis, etc. too
B4C was just F body RPO im pretty sure
caprice were B-body
first were the '76 and older, biscaynes and impalas and such
then 77-79 first new style (boxies),
then 80-90(new boxies, no more aero-coupes http://www.angelfire.com/retro/impal...frontpage.html
'87 last of the 2 doors, http://www.dreamelectric.com/caprice.html
no more impalas after sometime around '84
'87 new aero style headlights -
then '91 all new body but same old chassis carry-over

the green hoses on the caprice where from the 9C1 police package. I have the complete set of hoses if anyone is interested from a caprice i just parted out. They were supposedly lifetime hoses and for being 16 years old and having 140K miles on them they look and feel like brand new with no cracks or dry spots. Chevy says they are 100% silicone. Like i said if anyone interested i have the whole set so pm me if your interested.
