t top car worth turning to full blown drag?

Car: 1991 camaro rs
Engine: 350 bored .030 over, 438rwhp 429tq
Transmission: 700r4 stage 3 race 700hp
Axle/Gears: stock axles and 3.23 gears
t top car worth turning to full blown drag?
i have a t top 91 camaro and i wanna know if it worth going to full blown drag im talking stripped interior cut wheel wells for tubbing mini spool everything, what else needs done too

since you are going full drag - I assume that you are going to use a custom full frame and a full roll cage, if so? it is up to what you like, heck a 1950 nash would work if that is what floated your boat.

If you truely have the skill level to complete the task... chop it up! If your unsure, on budget, skills or time. Leave it stock body. There is plenty of fast cars running modified, stock suspension.

i mean i am by no means a pro but i have went to school for mechanics and am currently going for welding, im not scared of anything but the math in this, i was more worried of the body roll myth that people say about t tops then anything, and what do people do to the sub frame on one of these cars iv never heard of a diffrent fram a friend told me you cant do tube chassis on these models

Don't think you understand. This is a convertible forum. Don't think anyone here cares what you do with your T-top. As far as making it into a race rig, it only takes money.

sorry to perpetuate this thread but...... I dont think the terms "full blown drag" and "mini spool" belong in the same post.... I think you need to figure out what type of racing you want to do, how fast you need/want to go and then figure out what u need to do to reach those goals...I personally would start with a hard top.... Now go post in the right section....
