Should I buY the Z28

Found a 1991 Z28 convertible that I can get for 2000k. Needs to the typical work. It does run. Should I buy it? Will it bring some serious money in the next ten years?

Re: Should I buY the Z28

I certainly hope you mean 2K

it's hard to know without details and pics, but a Z28 vert sounds like a safe bet at 2K

Re: Should I buY the Z28

1) The car has TPI (all Z28's should have TPI, unless it was an export car)
2) It is a convertible
3) $2000 is usually a good price for a TPI car, let alone a convertible... It will only go up in value.

Re: Should I buY the Z28

I'd say no, mainly because it seems like you're interested in buying it as an investment car. You'll just be disappointed when years from now you'll be hard pressed to find someone to pay over 3K.

I noticed a while ago that the value of third gens is going up pretty quickly, but that value is worthless when you compare it to what someone will actually pay.

Re: Should I buY the Z28

Over time of course it's gonna go up in value =P. The fact that its a convertible z28 only makes things better. without pics I'm not gonna say a y/n, but it sounds like a solid buy.

I say it is all about what YOU like. Don't worry about who else likes it. You can't go wrong with a ragtop.

Re: Should I buY the Z28

I found a 6,200 dollar Mustang with a 281 in it as well as 86,XXX miles of complete win on the dash. By now I've doubled that amount between the T56, supercharger, SCT tuner, etc.
