Bought mine in Oct 2004 (I was the 5th owner) and it had 113K miles on it. It now has 175K and got a new Jasper engine at 120K, rebuilt TH400R, new suspension, bushings, tires, exhaust, wheels refinished, new paint, new seat skins, new top, new weather stripping .....if you can touch it, I have replaced it.,

Bought my '91 in Feb of '92 as a Pontiac owned vehicle so I was the first retail owner. The car had 8K miles on it when I bought it from Pontiac and now, 18 .6 years later, has 144K. It was built in Sep 1990 but did not officially come off the Van Nuys line until Feb 91. Then it went to ASC for conversion in Mar '91 and put on the dealer market in Dec of '91. I bought it through an Atlanta GA dealer and have used it as a daily driver since then.

I've never thought of selling it - its a great car even if it does not have all the current options. I leave them for my wife's car!

i've had mine almost a month now and still havent put more than 5 miles on it.... it wont run right! but thats a story for another thread lol. 91 Z28 305tpi and auto trans. shows 205k on the clock. maroon with grey interior and black top.

I've had mine for two and a half months. My first new car was an 82 Camaro. I got rid of it 20 years ago because I needed a truck to build my house. When I came across a dark red 87 convertible LT sport coupe in good condition, I couldn't pass it up.

I bought mine in Sept of 2007. I also think that trip was when Maryann got pregnant with our now 2-1/2 year old boys. It is pretty comicidental that they were born the following May.

Bought my black 89 IROC 350 T-top in December 0f 1990, bought the 92 purple haze Z April of 2005 and my 92 triple black Z28 vert June of 2006. Bought a red 91 Z in 1995 but my girlfriend wrecked it in 2002. My 1988 black 350 t-top IROC was stolen in 94. I had been trying to buy a vert since 1990 and finally found one I liked in 2006. I put a 9 bolt in it with PBRs and 327 posi. Got a new top with glass rear window. New carpet and 89 GTA lumbar seats and matching door panels. Can't beat those lumbar seats. All infinity Kappa speakers with a kenwood deck and X501F amp. console clock, bose kick panels with infinity 5.25s aluminum drive shaft and soon a 350 with track 1s and a HSR and LT4 hot cam. 140 speedometer. Can't decide what wheels but I want the C5 front brake set-up. Not a bit of rust anywhere and not one ding but it could use paint. I got a 90 ZR-1 that makes 430 to the rear wheels and I would rather drive the vert.

ive had my 91 bird vert for alittle over 2 months now, loving every second of it, needs a new rear window (plastic) but other then that its a great car, its got 144k with a new jasper motor in it at 119,xxx so about 25k on the new motor and rebuilt trans,

bought an 84 sport coupe as my first camaro (hardtop) built azz 350 with a 350 trans sold it bought an 88 sport coupe with factory GFX (looked like iroc of the year) had the rare D81 "shorty" spoiler, sold it 6 or so months later and bought my vert same day as i sold the 88...

gave her a tune up runs like a top, and i always get both wheels to spin




but anyone know if i can put coupe doors on a vert if i change the vert window into the coupe door? or will it simply not fit?

-2004 bought my lil v6 90 rs 600 bucks awesome drifting car lol parted it out for better camaros
-2005 bought ttop white rs 305 tbi for 850 sold for 2000
-2007 traded my 76 ramcharger for a 92 rs hardtop, im swapping a tpi motor into it now
-10/10/10 bought 91 rs 305 tbi convertible $1400, this will be a clone of the z28 my parents owned
sadly this is the most i've ever paid for one of these and it runs the worst... then again i never got a chance to start my rs tpi conversion, i need an engine harness...

One year, 89 GTA vert but I am in Hawaii and in the military with a move coming soon. The military will ship one vehicle for you but the second on is up to you. If I do keep the vert it will take $1075 to ship it to west coast then I would have to drive it to North carolina. I would love to make that road trip. Its a fun car bought it for 2500 from a small dealer hear on hawaii. They even put it on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZP2v0xw8_w Keep it or sell?

Crazy! Thats only 300 miles per year! Assuming you only drive it during the summertime thats only 100 miles per month! Ive never seen someone own a car so long and drive it so little.

The odometer says 78,000 but its has 128,000 I had to change the odometer out it stop working.

I'm coming up on 8 years of ownership with my Z28. It was my first car when I was 16. When I bought it, it was a one owner car with 32,000 miles, completely bone stock in every way. It sits with 106,000 now, with hardly a bolt that hasn't been touched by me, and has been taken off of daily driver duty for about 3 years now. I'd say in the last 3 years I've put about 5,000-6,000 miles on it.

Bought her in spring of '00. Had 43,000kms (25,800miles) at the time. Has about 124,000kms (74,400miles) today. Enjoyed driving her quite a bit on sunny summer days when single. Married and 4 kids later I might have put on 1000kms in the last two years. This year she only made one trip to Edmonton, AB (about 1 1/2 hours away). I'm drive it just enough now to keep things well manetained and to purge the old gas for new annually.

I have had mine for about 8.5 years now (I think)... I have put about 70K miles on it during that time. I bought it from the first owner.

The weather has been extremely vert friendly here lately. I have driven it every day this past month except maybe three days when i needed to haul something in my truck...

This has been an extremely reliable car. I have spent very little money on it except for refurb/upgrades...

Bought it new in October 1988, as a birthday gift to... me! sky blue coupe vert (so, not a IROC-Z) black cloth interior, 88,000 miles, now in need of a full restoration. Hopefully I will get started on it next spring!

Bought my 88 in September of '95. I bought it because my Dad had bought a 91 t-top z. (which I now own) We drove that car from Florida to Arkansas and back. That was all it took for me to find one of my own. It's been sitting at his place for 4 years waiting for me to come back for it. I hope to have it home in the next few months.

bought mine is 06. i wasent really looking for a new camaro but the car had the 99 trans am ram air fiberglass hood all black and i wanted it. thought the kid was gonna want more than what i got it for 700 dollars as he didnt know how to put in the transmission..got the new trans alo..lol what a deal. now i did body work to it and primered it up. put a 355 in it with a 5 speed manual that i got and she is running good.

Bought this '90 IROC Convertible July 2011, had my '88 IROC Convertible from Aug 2003 until Sept 2008.

The '88 had 63k miles on it, this '90 has 83K miles. They are basically optioned the same (305 TPI, 308 posi, rear drums), only the '88 was black and the '90 is blue!

Bought my first vert 90 Iroc Z red on red in Oct 1995. Has 51,000 miles now. Since then I have owned 10 other 87 to 92 verts. Curently have the Red 90 tpi,Blue 89 Iroc Z vert with tpi auto,Teal blue 92 Z28 vert tpi auto, Red 92 Z28 vert tpi auto. I would sell the last 3 cars, but the Red 90 goes to my son someday. He was born in 1990! The blue 89 vert was purchased in Aug. That was my 11th 87 to 92 vert. Fix up the cars and drive them in the summer then sell them. Its been my hobby for the lasr 5 to 6 years. Pretty lucky to be able to do this. 3rd gen Camaro's are the best!

I bought my 1991 Z28 on may of 1998! Back then the car has 43475 KM on it! I removed the 305 tpi engine and installed a 350 corvette engine. As of today, the 350 engine was removed and modified 3 times and I am planning in removing it this winter to stroke it and install a 6 speed tranny along with a 9 inch. it will be the last time I swear lol
