I've learned a valuable lesson to never trust someone, even if you've met them before and consider them to be your friend after this transaction, thats for sure. Back in June I was moving from NY to Houston and needed to unload a set of heads really fast before I moved, so I decided to let him take them up front and pay me in July since I knew him and he was good for it. I let them go for a steal at 400$ too, since I just needed rid of them immediately. Well July, August, etc goes on with no cash. He even sold them for over 800$ on ebay so you'd think I would have gotten paid then. Nope. Finally back in October I squeezed 50$ out of him. It is now DECEMBER. The fact that he sold them for 800$+ and didn't even pay me back out of that is what really pisses me off. There just is no excuse for it. None. "I don't have any money", well how about the money you got from SELLING THEM? I can't even get them back since he doesn't have them anymore. Be careful who you trust out there guys. People who you think you are cool with will still **** you.

I had met him in the past when I was in MD once. After that I talked to him pretty regularly on IM, and that is how he got them.

I am also cynical of people and their trustworthiness. That's why good guys have to stick together, because the world is already supersaturated with a-holes.

If what you write is true, then I will steer clear of him in all respects on these forums.

It is tough trusting people. Feedback is a must when I buy something here. I try to be as honest and patient as I can with my customers and sellers. Hopefully you make a good name for yourself.

I told him I couldnt afford the heads... he insisted on me just paying the 50$ shipping and getting the money to him when ever I could.

I decided to go ahead and sell the heads on eBay. To my delight they sold for 800 and something.

I mailed the guy his heads and he tells me I sent him two right heads or something.

Files a return with paypal and here we are.

I told nathan I would pay him what I could out my pocket but I havnt talked to him in some time.

Funny thing is he has my cell and my email.

im sticking up for mike here, ive known him for a year or two and hes helped me out many times, he helped me do a custom 3' exhust wich took way too long, got pulled over in his car and then on they way home i had a smalll fire in the engine bay. and he help me out the hole time even bought me food and waited for the tow truck for like 2 hours and since ive know him hes been honest and a good man

exept he still has my bose gold speaker lid...... forgot to take it when did the exhust...and now he doesnt wana bring it to me guess ill have to get it from you my self... lol

this is none of my busines,but there is no such thing as 2 right heads.you can switch them from bank to bank on a small block chevy.sounds like to me the guy that bought them on ebay doesn't know his head from a hole in the ground.

Ive learned this lesson myself, but luckily not from freinds. Grew up around car dealerships, and just learned from other peoples mistakes not to do business with freinds or family.

Dont get personal with business, business is business. And always get stuff in writing. This avoids hassles and ensures u dont lose freinds.
