Engine: 305

Transmission: 700-4r

Axle/Gears: 3.23

QJ Carburetors Year Specific

For those Firebirds (1982 & forward) that came from the factory with a Quadrajet, is each QJ year specific. My 1984 T/A has a QJ as the car was built for the export market to Canada. I owned a 1972 Buick GS & the QJ was year specific & trans specific (automatic or 4 stick).

I have answered my own question.
I just found a site that lists the QJ numbers by year of vehicle, etc..
