Sometimes it’s just user error 😅
Coming out of winter storage this past Spring I gave my carb a good cleaning and readjustment (750 DP)
Followed Sofa’s tuning sticky (minus the jet/PV adjustments as I already knew those were fine, I’ve been running this setup for over a decade).
All back together and all of a sudden there’s a distinct lean stumble off idle.
“What the heck?!? I check everything, come up with nothing, and just let it go for the time being”
Fast forward to now and I’m researching accelerator pump nozzles because I’m thinking “maybe after 15 years or so the primary nozzle is corroded and not flowing right. they’re cheap enough and that’d be a simple fix”
So I go out to check my sizes, which to my memory should be a 31 on the primaries and a 28 on the secondaries.
Much to my surprise I find a 28 on the primaries and the 31 on the secondaries 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I had reversed them on reassembly and didn’t catch it.
Flipped them and the problem went away.
So, always double check the simple things 🤣
