Holley Fuel Inlet Fitting
What is everyone using for the fuel inlet fitting on Holley single- feed carbs under a drop base air cleaner?
I have a basic 350 in my 92 with a stock Qjet intake manifold, Holley 4160 single inlet with vac secondary, and a 1 3-4" drop base air cleaner. I can't get the hose to bend enough to fit a straight hose barb fitting under the air cleaner base and haven't been able to find a compatible swivel fitting with a 3/8" hose barb on it.
Previously, I had mocked something up using some brass plumbing fittings and it worked, but it's ugly and occasionally seeps fuel. I also had to wrap all of it heat reflective tape to keep the fuel cool enough to avoid problems.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
