Holley Vac Sec to Mech Sec conversion
I have a car running a Holley 750 street HP original no choke model. 0-82750
with the mixture perfect at operating temp, its lean on cold start and struggles until warmed up,, typical of no choke carbs.
wind out the mixture screws out 1/2 turn she starts easier but is rich when warmed up..
i would like to buy a choke model Holley 750dp like the 0-4779C but are expensive new..
I have at home a brand new 770 Ultra Avenger 0-86770 but its vac secondary electric choke
Can this new 770 carb be converted to Mech Secondary and mechanical choke.
I am just trying to save buying a new carb by converting the above.
