non computerized, switching from tbi, unknown carb year came off of an old k5 blazer 350. i have an 88 bird with an early 80-85 305 in it, all stock.

No, other than rebuilding the carb, it's a Qjet, you'll be fine. You'll need to remove the ECM from the car, change the distributor to a vacuum advance and unhook the knock sensor, EGR, etc to get it to work right.
leave the ECM installed though, it'll still run your fan.,

no emissions, knock sensor egr all that already off, as motor was originally cc quad, but i have wiring in the car for tbi. going to get hei dist. i have the old cc quad, is there any way i can run the electric choke from that and put it on my non cc quad?

Yes you can use a electric choke if you have the right type of carb, Find the carb # it's on the right side. Look it up it easy to find what it is .

tune your secondaies. they're actually pretty good carbs when tuned right.

have to see if the weights and springs are good and move free. the coil and icm i think i would try and see if its good run it, if not have to change it

So got the carb on and fuel lines hooked up getting gas from mech fuel pump and car will only start if I pour has down carb then will die won't stay running, what do I need to look for?

you take the carb apart and see if all the jets and needle and seat are free and working properly before you put it on?
