Carburetor rebuild - uh oh....

I think I screwed up the casting..

I was attempting to pull a idle tube out for cleaning during a rebuild and I ended up opening the orifice more than it was. The hole will not fit an idle tube snuggly anymore! Oh crap!

Is there any remedy for this or is the casting shot?

Chuck

Also, does the Idle Air Bleed need to be flush in the hole or can it be recessed by a skosh?

Re: Carburetor rebuild - uh oh....

initial setting for the IAB should be to the same number of turns out in which it was found. if not set it initially at 4 turns out and fine tune with the dwell meter.
