87 lg4 to 92 tbi LO5 fuel delivery
Problem I have is my 87 sport coupe lg4 car needed engine. I already have a 92 LO5 350 tbi sitting here so was going to put in car. Going to put carb on lo5 but that year motor not have cam for mechanical fuel pump. What are my options to get fuel to the lo5 motor have been reading several threads about mallory return style regulators but see the results are not promising with pump failure. Any help would be great.

Your 87 should already have an in-tank pump but it won't be strong enough to support the motor by itself. You can either swap it or install a helper in-line pump. Either way you NEED to keep the fuel return. The fuel lines are too close to the exhaust. You can use a regulator or keep the pressures relatively low and run it through a stock mech pump, using the mech pump as your return.
