have carb apart, any tricks i could do?
i just got done tearing my holley 4160 600cfm vac sec. carb down for a rebuild. is there any tricks that you guys have done to your holley? i was thinking about grinding the throttle shafts to gain some airflow. other then that what else can i do to increase the performance?

heres a few ideas you might consider;
instead of grinding the throttle shaft, try a stub stack.

a 50cc accelerater pump will help give you more shot.

then you'll want to tune the squirter for the 50cc pump. IDK what size you'll need? its trial and tune.

theres also a hollow discharge nozzle screw you can get.
i like the adjustable vacuum secondaries. really hate taking the housing apart. with this unit, its just a twist of a screw. wont take but a few blasts up and down the road to get your secondaries dialed in.

i already have the stubstack to smooth out the airflow, and i will be installing the quick change secondary springs during the rebuild.
i will have to think about the 50cc squirter...thanks for the idea!
