Fuel Issues
I recently purchased a 1986 Iroc-Z that has a 350 swapped motor edelbrock manifold and edelbrock carb it was previously a 305 tpi, it ran good for a week besides me having to pump the gas pedal a couple times to start, then I went offshore a month came back and it wouldn't start do I brought it to the mechanic they changed the electric in tank fuel pump that was bad and now it starts then runs a little while then kills, they can't figure out the problem, any ideas?

Re: Fuel Issues
the fuel pump is turning off when it dies? the oil switch should hold it on if its working. you put in new gas at some point of ownership?

Re: Fuel Issues
does this car have both an electric in tank pump and a mechanical fuel pump on the block? if so and no regulator, there is your problem
