Ok...at this point ive got the entire passenger side harness out of my car. Doing a carbd l69 swap from a monte carlo ss using an edelbrock 650 and cam, ect. What im trying to find is a thread that shows in detail possibly, or explains what ineed to do in detail to maintain the intank pump with a regulator. Pleaseeee help. Car is a 92 rs 305/t5

In detail ?
Install the original pump line to a return style regulator then the regulator return to the original return then hook the carb up, There's no reason to fool with the factory pump wiring that I know of.
Adjust the regulator to carb pressure specs and hit the road.....

With the harness removed and ecu not connected it will just turn on with the key on?

Sorry, Can't help with deleting the ECU and wiring, When I installed the 502 crate in my GMC, All I did is remove the harness loom and trimmed out all the injector and sensor wires I didn't need then re-loomed. Plan on doing the same on my GTA carb engine install.....
