A few questions from a newbie

This is probably the wrong place to ask but I figured it was close enough. I just purchased an 87 Z28 Camaro. The car is carbureted and I just wanted to know if it is possible to setup carbs for fuel economy instead of power. I was told by the previous owner that the car is still using a Q-jet carb if that helps. I love the camaro but would like to keep gas costs reasonable. Sorry if my question is kinda dumb but I'm new to carbs.

Re: A few questions from a newbie

You won't find a more fuel-efficient carb setup than the stock computer-controlled Quadrajet, if it's all working correctly.
