Rochester carb question.....
I start the car up cold and it revs anywhere between 1400 and 2400 rpm. Sometimes after it warms up it will come down to 800 rpm, sometimes it won't. Just wondering if anyone can help me out? It's an 86 Trans Am 305HO.

Sounds like the choke linkage is sticking. I would spray some carb cleaner on it (it's behind the elec. choke on the pass. side) and work it back and forth to try and free it up. If that doesn't work the choke may be shot.
