Im trying to replace the belt in my cassette deck and i've taken out all the screws and the deck became loose but does not pull out. I cant find any other screws that may be holding it in place.

IIRC,there is a screw under the face plate-sometimes it is phillips head ,other times hex head

I had taken it off and removed mostly all screws that i could see under it. I didn’t want to remove all of them so it wouldn't become complicated to piece back together. I had saw one under the top of the front frame. That screw was not accesible at all. Nothing could fit to get to it since it was under the frame. Hard to explain how it was exactly. Is it better to just take it apart all together?

If you look at the radio from the front,... turn the radio so you can see the RIGHT side of the radio. There are (usually- not always ) 4 screws holding it in place,.. the 3 similar 1/4" screws and 1 very small screw ( 3/16"?) that gets installed from the RIGHT side. ( front right corner of the cassette mechanism.) You need a slim long socket to reach it.... if you're LUCKY it will be a phillips head screw and not a 3/16" screw. Be sure to disconnect the 2 electrical plugs.

* No cassette mechanism screws are hidden under the face,... don't need to remove the face to remove the cassette mechanism.

SOME radios do not have a 4th screw - but most do. Once the screws are removed push the back of the cassette mech forward with your thumbs while lifting UP. Once the back of the cassette mech gets raised up it's free & can usually then simply be pulled out of the radio. Sometimes the cassette mech gets stuck, usually due to the cassette mech "cover" hitting on the case, but sometimes just because of a "splinter" from a screw hole.
