Radio pod bracket
I got my 1988 GTA Delco loc radio internals completely rebuilt to like new, but my radio pod is missing the brackets so my radio just sits there weighting the bottom of the pod down. Anyone know where I can get some brackets to glue on to attach the radio to?

Re: Radio pod bracket
No such thing as a bracket to add into the pod. The mounting holes are integrally molded into the structure of the pod. Yours appear to be broken and gone, making the pod no good. You'll need another pod, or you can be content with letting the radio rest as it does, which is likely to eventually cause the top horizontal frame of the pod to break where it attaches to the dash.
Here's a picture of a decent pod that I just took off of the net. Hundreds of images online, and most of them are broken like yours is.
Most of the ones on ebay are broken too, and the one that's not, isn't great either, but the seller apparently hopes to retire off of it anyway.
Hawk's has used ones for a much more reasonable price than the one on ebay, and they're probably in better condition than the one on ebay. Hawk's also sells refurbished ones that will be like new, with new bezels, and even that price is better than a decent one on ebay, although it looks like they might be out of them; says to call for availability.

Re: Radio pod bracket
I am going to get a bunch of radio double din brackets and see what all will fit best and try to mock something up for mine.
