Skar Audio fit?

I've seen a 90-92 specific speaker package from Skar Audio on eBay. The 4x6 looks big. Does anyone know if it will fit in my 91 firebird's dash without having to hack it all up?

Re: Skar Audio fit?

The first set of speakers that I bought for my 1991 Camaro RS were the Skar Audio TX46 4x6's, but the magnets were way too big to fit and I did not want to start hacking up the ducts in a 33,000 mile car. I decided on the Polk Audio DB 4x6's and they fit much better and sounded a lot better as well.

Re: Skar Audio fit?

Thanks for the response. I have heard good things about the Skar product, but not so much in our cars. I ended up ordering the Kicker CS series 4x6 and 6x9's. Crutchfield confirmed fitment. I hope they sound good. Surely anything is better than the stockers.
