Question about double dins
I have one already and paid stupid money for it in 2013. It has a rear camera, cd, remote, dvd etc. I don't like it because it requires an upload to keep it updated every so often.
So I'm looking for a double din and the original radios for our cars seem to go quickly and for $300 give or take.
Will any double din out of a GM vehicle work in our cars? I'm looking on Ebay and there are other radios from the 80s, 90s and even early 2000s that have either tape or tape/cd. Said radios are from other GM makes and models. I figure it might be a cheap way to take the car back to a familiar and simple look.
Thanks

Re: Question about double dins
Where is the location for the casting numbers on the STOCK radios for 1982-1989 radios?
I'm guessing this is important. One on ebay says "make sure your casting number is 16041982
I purchased the face for the stock GM Delco radio. Now I need the radio
