It'll work, depends on how deep your pockets are or how hard you want to work on it. A bottle could fit down there and if you got 2 12" subs that require little air space (solobaric). I think it would be a PITA to have to move the sub box to turn the bottle nozzle on and off for each run. Then there is that remote bottle opener but it is really expensive and DOESN'T come with any of the No2 kits I've ever seen. Just install the bottle in place of the spare tire, I bet that would work. Or rip out the drivers side rear "glove" box and install the bottle there. Then you could probably put the bottle standing up in the well and have the valve in the middle of the two subs.
Hope this helps and gives you some ideas and work arounds.

My brother-in-law had a plate that could swing up like the stock back panel. Mounted a piece of 3/4" MDF and mounted 2 of our Kicker Freeair ( I know, Freeairs) on the mounting plate. So the whole bottom of the storage compartment could be accessed really easy, and plenty of room for a blue bottle.

I just currently put 12's in my camaro and I made it so that I could put NOS in also, I made my own box/flat piece of wood with some legs so that it was almost level with the flat area of the trunk and there is plenty of room under it for the bottle. oh and the box/flat piece of wood is just sitting in there so that i can just lift it out when I need to.
Hope that helps
