For what? It would be a universal antenna and require you to drill into your car and seal theantenna with silicone. If re just for he radio I would advise against t. Use the factory antenna the fin would have to be grounded like our original ones, its a pain and not worth the trouble you just get a worse signal.

If you are using the fin style antenna similar to or off of an Acura SUV, you will get an excellent signal for AM and FM, more than that though, you will have a great signal for XM radio and GPS. It's a little complicated to utilize it but professionally done, it could be pretty nice. You can also use the FM/AM/XM antenna that goes inside the side view mirror housing off of a C6 corvette coupe. That way you stay with manufacturer OEM quality parts instead of a lot of cheap aftermarket crap that is universal.

I thought about doing the fin, but then the more I thought about it. The fins are more of a fad right now, and in a few years no cars will come with them.
So I would be stuck with a hole drilled in the roof, that I would have to fill to get rid of it, after I spent all the money painting the car.
Instead I shaved my stock ant, and for now have the antenna under the dashmat. I've been reading on using the rear defroster as an antenna, I think I my try that and see if I get better reception that way.
