Speakers for a 1988 GTA with UQ7 speaker option
I've decided to use the Pioneer DEH P77DH HU in the car along with the Infinity 5350A amp to power the speakers and 1 sub.
It looks like the Polk Momo MMC460 4x6 speaker is the best recommendation on Crutchfield for the dash speakers. It also looks like these are a good choice to replace the factory 4x6 speakers in the rear. Based on previous experience with Polk speakers, I expect these to deliver good sound quality.
The other rear speaker position contains a 5 inch sub from the factory. From other posts, I understand a 5.25 inch speaker will fit this opening. Does anyone know how well the Polk 5.25 inch speakers fit in the factory subwoofer enclosures below the rear 4x6 speakers? I'm looking at using either the Polk DB521, Polk DB525, or Polk Momo MMC525 in this opening.
The sub will be a Polk Momo MM2104 10inch sub.
I may switch to the Polk amps to match the speakers but I like the Infinity for the features and price.
